5 bedroom w/staff& security, Private Beachfront Hacienda

Tracee's hacienda is a gem on the Sea of Cortez. Early morning coffee in the east facing fountain courtyard to view sunrises was the highlight of each day. The classic Spanish architecture lends itself to privacy both indoors and out. There are multiple gardens to attract many birds for the nature lover and Lupita uses the fresh garden veggies in her delectable cooking! The weather was perfect during our May visit so we chose to eat and cook in the outdoor dining and kitchen areas. Oscar and Lupita were always attentive and personal when we had questions but seemed to just disappear when they knew we were set for the day! Be sure to take a walk up the beach to see Dave's boneyard - a fabulous collection of marine mammal skulls, vertebrae, etc.! A genuine paradise, we'd love to return!

Spent a lot of time in Mexico in my life. Rancho Never Summer is special. It is luxury on the water. Wake up in morning, look through the palm trees next door and watch the sun come up. Get up early and go fishing. In addition to the chance to land the surprising aggressive yellow tail, you might get to see various kinds of whales, whale sharks, killer whales, porpoise or a pelican eating frenzy. Dine at one of several great places. Get to know some of the many ex-pats who fish here. The property is walled in, video monitors and secure. Oscar and his sister take care of you.

Our previous experience with visiting beautiful Baja has only been part of our family camping on the beach. We wanted the whole family to come this time so we turned to VRBO and found this lovely home to stay in. Staying in the house gave us the comforts of home while still being able to experience the wild nature of the Baja. From the beginning of our trip planning Tracee, the owner, was friendly and accommodating. She even gave us tips on border crossing, hotels for the drive down, and was happy to answer any and all of our questions by phone and through email. Her experience in the Baja helped ease any worries we had. The house itself is beautifully situated overlooking the water and has views from every room and the courtyard. We spent much of our time sitting and relaxing, eating and playing games all while taking in the view and enjoying fresh breeze. Inside the house is equally beautiful, a gorgeous Mexican Hacienda with attention to detail, and decorated beautifully. My personal favorite is the colorful Spanish tile inside and out. The bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy and very comfortable. I cannot say enough about our friend Oscar who was there each morning and and throughout the day as needed stocking our ice and beverages and helping us in every way that he could. He acted as our guide one day taking us to some Petroglyphs and a fresh water spring to swim in nearby. If you love fish tacos, Lupita’s fish tacos are numero uno!! Certainly a main highlight of our trip was her cooking for us. If we go again we will have her cook every night for us as it was convenient, delicious and better than any other meals we had in the area. We especially enjoyed having her cook our fish we caught in the mornings. Fishing was all we had hoped for for. A knowledgeable, friendly captain, comfortable boat and convenience of leaving right from the house each morning. We caught fish each time we went out and we loved the snorkeling. Francisco filleted our fish each day. We caught dorado, yellow tail, bonita and Sierra. We loved our stay in Baja and at this lovely home.

It took us 5 years to build this house and the Talavera tile you mention came all the way from Oaxaca. Things like that are the reason for the 5 years to build. We have been vacationing in and sharing this home for such a short time, that your comments really mean a lot to us. I love this place! It's a new mansion built Mexican-style, right on the beach in San Lucas. That's between Santa Rosalia and Mulege/Punto Chivato- just North of the Bay of Concecion maybe 30 miles. Fishing from this house is fantastic. It's in one of the best fishing locations in Baja. But, it's a less known area, tranquil, safe, less people, no tourists. GREAT for whale shark watching- minutes away- and Dolphins, all varieties of whales, Rays dancing in the water, turtles, etc. The house itself is gorgeous, made of stone and hardwood and talavera tile everywhere It has 5 HUGE bedrooms and baths- all with beachfront views. And then ther's the staff. 2 people who tend to your every need. Plus cable TV, Internet, full office. It's an unheard of gem! They have glass bottom canoes and it's way better than the photos.

Thank you. We are new to VRBO--and actually just finished building this year--so we really appreciate your review. We have now finished the Outdoor Kitchen. It's overlooking the bay and has an amazing view. It has a 6' Weber Summit BBQ, with 6 burners and a real Hot Burner. It even has a salamander and rotisserie. It's set into a 400' kitchen area with double sink, cooking space and a seating bar for guests. It also has a dining table for 12 and is just gorgeous. We provide the propane supply.

My husband and I have been coming to this area to fish for yellowtail for years. For Valentine's Day we really splurged and stayed at this beautiful, massive home. The house has a large wall around it that makes you feel secluded and safe. The views are just breathtaking. During the trip we caught yellow tale and even saw whale sharks. The staff kept the home so clean and were very helpful anytime I had questions or needed help with something. This is an old Mexican fish town where you can really get away from the world and have some peace and quiet. I highly recommend this house for fishing groups who are looking for a beautiful place to stay while still getting the feeling that you are disconnected from the world.
